Tilt Sort: a solver checks every tray
Tilt Sort is a puzzle where you never touch a piece. You turn the tray and gravity does everything else. That makes it simple to play and surprisingly hard to design.

One rule, applied to everything
Every tilt turns the tray 90 degrees. Then every loose piece falls one cell at a time, all together, until nothing can move. A candy that reaches the jar with its own mark sinks. A wrong jar is a wall. Crates fall like candies but never sink. That is the whole physics engine, and the same code runs in the game and in our level tools.
A solver for every level
Because the rules are exact, a computer can try every order of tilts. Our solver does a breadth-first search over tray positions, so the first solution it finds is the shortest one. That number becomes the level's par. If the solver cannot finish a tray, the tray never ships, so every one of the 41 levels is guaranteed to be solvable.
Hints that come from the same solver
The hint button runs that search from wherever you are, not from the start. It lights up your next tilt and tells you how many are left. If you have tilted yourself into a dead end, it says so, and Undo takes you back.
Powers and motion tilt
Smash breaks one crate, Magnet sinks a whole colour and Autopilot lets the solver play two tilts for free. On phones you can also roll the device left or right to tilt, which turned out to be the most fun way to play.
